The world is rapidly becoming multilingual and Arabic and Spanish are both key languages of the future. (David Graddol, language researcher, in a report to the British Council)

Spanish is a great language to learn:
• It is the second most spoken language by native speakers in the world after Mandarin Chinese, and about 500 million people worldwide speak it.
• Latin American countries are increasingly becoming important global commercial partners and nearly 45 million US inhabitants speak Spanish as their native language. Thus, more and more companies are looking for multilingual employees who speak Spanish.
• The Spanish or Latin culture has influenced not only the European culture but the whole world for centuries. Studying Spanish also means to become friends with Don Quijote and Sancho Panza, to understand a bit better the abstract paintings of Pablo Picasso and Miró, or the artwork of Salvador Dalí and Gaudí, to enjoy the novels of Isabel Allende and the movies of Pedro Almodóvar, to live the passion for football and flamenco, to meet with friends for tapas or pintxos and just to enjoy the Spanish life-style.

There is a great variety of Spanish courses in Spain’s most famous cities which all have their very own characteristics and you should choose well where you want to study and spend your language holidays: Madrid and Barcelona are Spain’s biggest cities and most cosmopolitan, Granada and Salamanca are famous university cities with a great atmosphere for students, Málaga, Marbella and Valencia are directly at the Mediterranean coast and don’t forget about the language schools on the Balearic and Canary Islands.

Some schools offer special repetition courses for A-Level students, and all of them do Standard courses whose intensity is up to you, your study aims and time. It is also great fun to combine your language course with sports lessons, or cooking, Flamenco dancing, scuba diving, cultural classes …. and there is a lot more to discover. Just check on our website and compare the different schools and the variety of courses each one offers, or contact us directly if you have any further questions.
