When booking a course it would be wise to travel well prepared and therefore make sure that you take out a travel and/or cancellation insurance. With a suitable travel insurance, many important matters are well taken care of. Think fo medical costs, urgent dentistry costs, accidents/serious illnesses, repatriation, luggage, rescue, costs for returning home with respect to family circumstances and private liability. With reference to this Linganet co-operates with Joho Caremed International Insurance. On the very moment that we confirm your course per email, we send you – together with this email – a link with which you can directly take out a suitable travel and/or cancellation insurance. If you do so, please make sure you take out the travel insurance within 7 days after your booking. A travel insurance covers the damage and the cost resulting from unforeseen events or circumstances during your journey and on holiday. In any case it makes a lot of sense to always take out a travel insurance when going abroad; a travel insurance covers various coverage areas: you can choose a European travel insurance or one with a world-wide coverage. Further you choose between a short term travel insurance or a continal travel insurance: the most advantageous option depends of the number of days, the chosen coverage and coverage area. With a continual travel insurance you will be insured whenever you go on a trip, domestic as well as international, and throughout the whole year. However, there is a maximum of continuous days that you can go abroad and coverage may be less extended than with a short term travel insurance. In addition to taking out a travel insurance, it would also make sense to take out a cancellation insurance. At unexpected cancellation, costs may well mount up fast, especially shortly before you were to leave. A cancellation insurance covers these costs for the most part, provided of course that the reason for cancellation is a sound and weighty one. A cancellation insurance turns out to be important, the probability that somethings happens can unfortunatly not be taken away, but you can at least save yourself the financial consequences and disappointment. And the advantage of course being that when you go on holiday or on a journey, having taken out the necessary insurances, you will go relaxed and well prepared; moreover, taking out travel and cancellation insurances only takes a little of your time! |
